US jobless claims continue to fall
On Friday, March 4, 2022, the US Department of Labor announced in the monthly report on employment rates that the total US jobless claims have reached 215,000, which is the lowest total since the beginning of this year and less than analysts' estimates.
Whereas, senior Wall Street economic analysts expected that unemployment claims in the US economy will decline to 226,000 in February 2022. As a result of the decline in requests for benefits, industrial production rates increased, as a report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that non-agricultural productivity rose by 6.6% in the fourth quarter of 2021.
