Russia cuts its seaborne oil exports in January |
Russia intends to reduce oil exports from its seaports next January, compared to the volume of its seaborne exports in December.
The value of the reduction, according to data reported by Reuters on Friday, December 22nd, from three sources in the oil sector, ranges between 100,000 and 200,000 barrels per day over this month’s levels, amid an increase in the production of its refineries.
One of the sources added: “The export schedule for the first quarter of 2024 is lower than for the period from October to December”.
The quarterly export schedule is a three-month export plan for Russian oil companies released before the new quarter, allowing them to plan supplies.
