Germany's economy grew in second Q 2022 by 1.8%

Official data on the German economy showed that the gross domestic product in Germany recorded a growth in July 2022 by 1.8% on an annual basis, exceeding expectations of growth by 1.5%, despite negative inflation data in light of the energy crisis and the lack of gas supplies from the Russian side.
Studies have shown that Germany's economy will grow weaker than expected this year due to the effects of the Russian-Ukrainian war on European countries, which will also lead to higher inflation in Europe's largest economy.
The chief economist at the Ifo Institute announced that the institute expected the economy to grow by between 2.2% and 3.1% this year, while the institute's forecast in December was 3.7%.
