Britain-Economy
Britain Economy
At the beginning of 2022, the rate of "inflation" rose significantly, and it has not happened at all in 30 years in Britain "United Kingdom" to its highest level, as the increase in energy and food costs (bread and milk), in addition to the increasing demand and problems of global supply and supply chains continued to raise prices consumers.
We find that the inflation rate reached 5.4% annually, the highest level since March of 1992, and an increase of 5.1% in November, which in itself is the highest level in a decade.
Economists' expectations were in place as many economists polled by Reuters had expected inflation to increase by 5.2%, and on a monthly basis consumer prices rose by 0.5%, exceeding economists' expectations for a rise of 0.3%.
