informal economy
Informal Economy
The "shadow economy" can be defined as a group of illegal and indiscriminate activities and practices that arise on the margins of the formal economy and are unregistered and not accounted for in the economic accounts.

Most important shadow economy activities

Also, the informal economy business either consists of legal or illegal works, as we shall see now:
  1. Illegal businesses: those that are practiced by parties and groups aiming for easy profit away from government control (such as drug trafficking - antiquities - members).
  2. Businesses are legitimate, and they have aimed at easy profit away from paying taxes and deductions (such as handicrafts and street vendors), and we find it in the Arab world countries that achieve profits sometimes exceeding 100% due to poor supervision.
